Looking to make some connections to others here at First Alliance, either to join a small-group Bible study or maybe just to hang out together and share a meal? That’s what this Sunday night’s meeting is all about. We’ll be introducing some new adult small-group options for the fall, as well as a new program called Dinner 6/7/8, where a group of FAC folks get together multiple times to share a meal at someone’s home. Oh, and did we mention ICE CREAM? See you Sunday Night…
Have a teen in 6th – 12th grade and attend First Alliance? Well don’t miss this Sunday night! All parents and their teens are invited to attend our Meeting and Ice Cream social this Sunday night. We will start at 6pm in the youth room and we will join some other adults who are meeting about small groups at 6:45pm to enjoy some sweets. You will not want to miss this because we will discuss what events the youth group has coming in the next year, how your teen can be involved here at FAC, and we will get your opinion on our teaching series for the year. Please contact Pastor Ben with any questions.
We are proud to host a very special cruise-in and concert, presented by Victory on the Frontline Church.
The cruise-in will begin at 4:00, along with free hot dogs, fun activities and a bounce-house for the kids, and, starting at 5:00, music by Second Chance and Lonnie and Faye Maines. Then, at 6:30 in the First Alliance Worship Center, join us for the music and ministry of Quinton Mills.
God filled the world with a lot of crazy creatures…including you! When kids feel weird, different, or even lost in a crowd—nothing compares to the extraordinary love of Jesus. Sign-up deadline is July 16th. Available to children ages 3 yrs old to rising 5th graders. To register please print the attached registration form or pick one up at the Kids’ Program table in the welcome center. VBS 2014
Hot Dog! On Sunday, July 20th there will be a kick-off hot dog dinner- 6 pm at church.
Don’t miss this special service. After our opening worship, we’ll take some time to recognize our 2014 high school graduates and check out the hopefully-not-too-embarrassing slideshow pictures their parents have supplied. Then Pastor Ben will give a special message to all of us.
Right after the morning service, the church family will gather for an old-fashioned Sunday picnic on the grounds. Bring a meal for your family with plenty to share with our visitors. Also feel free to bring ball gloves, footballs, wiffle bats, or other sports equipment, we we’ll be hanging around for cornhole, “can smash,” and other games!
