MORE ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
John Stonestreet is a co-host of BreakPoint, a Christian worldview radio program and the voice of The Point, a daily national radio feature on worldview. John will challenge attendees on cultural influence, caring for our culture, and how to connect belief and behavior.
Jeff Philpott serves as senior leader and teaching pastor at Sandhills Community Church. He is passionate about sharing the truth of the Gospel with others so they will be able to each also and will challenge us as men of influence.
Rich Brown and his wife serve as regional youth coordinators for Latin America (in Ecuador) and have served as youth pastor missionaries in Peru. Their passion is to reach youth with Christ’s love through evangelism, discipleship, leadership training and social work. Rich will share how God is moving in that region.

Come join us for the latest installment of what has become a proud (?) First Alliance tradition. We haven’t had one of these crazy shows in a few years, so who knows what kind of ideas have been floating around in the brains of our various performers?! Tickets are $8 and include both dinner and the show. YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS THIS WEEK — either buy them in the Welcome Center Sunday the 12th, or call the office to reserve your place by Wednesday the 15th. Proceeds go to support this summer’s Dominican Republic mission trip.
Kids, you won’t want to miss this chance to make your own special pottery creation! (Parents, please note that we are asking you to bring in $10 per child and get that to Miss Kelly on or before the 22nd.)
This Sunday we will have the privilege of hearing, for the first time, from International Worker appointees Brandon and Melanie Hilstad, our partners in ministry in Burkina Faso, West Africa. We will be having a light, potluck meal, so please bring a sandwich, salad or dessert to share. We will also be having communion and dedication service as well as a question and answer session with the Hilstads. Don’t miss this one!
March is Missions Month at First Alliance !!!
Our spring “Global Focus Weekend” will be March 13-15, featuring international workers from Paraguay and Japan.
Then, on March 28-29, we will have Brandon and Melanie Hilstad with us. This is the couple we are helping to launch into their new ministry in Burkina Faso.
Everyone is welcome to join us for the annual church business meeting (you don’t have to be a member to attend, only to vote). We’ll celebrate what God has done this year and make plans together for the year to come. Bring a soup or sandwiches to share. Dinner’s at 5 — the meeting around 6.
Come and join us as we celebrate the Savior’s birth with a very special night of fun, fellowship, food, and worship! Dinner includes chicken pie, ham, veggies and dessert and is only $5/plate. But you MUST reserve a ticket by Sunday the 14th. Stop by the table at church or call the church office.
(If you’d like to play or sing a special Christmas song that night, see Pastor Paul or Joanie Williams.)
