At First Alliance, we like to say that we are just "ordinary people being transformed by an extraordinary God."
Our church family is made up of people of all ages, and lots of different backgrounds, from all over Davidson County – and a few from surrounding areas.
We tend to be a pretty relaxed and informal bunch, and those who come to check out a worship service usually tell us they feel comfortable very quickly.
We try not to put any barriers between people and God that they haven't put there themselves.
We hold to the basic beliefs of the Christian faith and try not to make too big a deal of side issues that might divide us. We think it's more important to work together to find the people that are lost without Jesus.
We know we're not perfect, but we also know that God wants to make us more perfect as we get to know Him better.
We know we don't have all the answers, but we know the One who does, and we trust Him to make His ways more clear to us as we learn from His Word.
