It is our desire that every youth that attends or visits our church will feel accepted and loved. We want First Alliance to be a place where you, the student, can learn who you are and be encouraged to be yourself. Most importantly, we want you to develop a relationship with Jesus that will transform your heart and change the way you live.
We encourage students to show and share the love of Christ by serving our community. Our adult sponsors want students to see Jesus living in us; that is our heart's desire.
Oh, and we are also into having some serious fun!
Here are some of our regular activities:
- Life groups - This is our small group time. These groups are all about helping one another to be like Christ in our everyday lives. Life groups meet from 7-8pm Wednesdays, and there are middle and high school guy and girl groups available. Please come check us out!"
- Sunday School - This is where we dive into the Bible and explore what it means to believe all the stuff that's in it. Meets Sunday mornings from 9-10am.
- 542 (Youth Group) - This is our big weekly get-together where we play games, worship the Lord, and study His Word together.
We also have other ministries you can be involved in such as: Mime Team, the Silent Warriors, a youth worship team, and a Bible Quizzing team. If you have questions about being involved in these teams. Contact the church office at 619-4119."
We understand that growing in our love for God, having fun, and getting to know each other are important so we get together for several retreats and trips throughout the year, along with random fun events.
We participate in service projects in our community (like partnering with a local children's home) and mission trips to faraway places (Trujillo, Peru and Burkina Faso West Africa).
