The worship and arts ministry of First Alliance Church seeks to glorify God through authentic, relevant, and Spirit-filled worship that engages both the heart and mind. We desire to inspire, encourage, train and disciple those whom God has called to serve in this ministry and to impact our community for Christ through outreach events and community involvement.

Adult Choir

The adult choir is a great first step in getting involved with the music ministry. The choir ministers most every week in our morning worship services and meets every Wednesday for rehearsals. The choir also gives special presentations throughout the year in our church and community. If you love to worship, enjoy fellowship and have a heart for ministering with others, the choir is for you.

Worship Team

The worship team assists in leading the congregation into the presence of the Lord each week during our Sunday morning worship services. The worship team consists of both vocalists and instrumentalists. Currently we have three vocal teams. Our band consists of piano, organ, drums, bass, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar. We have been blessed with musicians and we'll occasional incorporate violin, saxophone, flute, and others as available. A basic level of musical proficiency is preferred. Chick here for the Worship Team Blog.

Special Music

Whether it's music, movement or other forms of artistic expression, individuals can use their gifts to serve during our Sunday services and special events. Throughout the year, we will occasionally form various instrumental and vocal ensembles to provide people the opportunity to be a part of the special music ministry.

Drama

We are always looking for ways to enhance our worship. Skits, poems, dramatic readings, props, puppets, and monologues are just some of the ways we incorporate drama throughout the year. We recently presented our first full-length comedy. If you love "acting up" or just lending a helping hand, this might just be the ministry for you.

Tech Teams

Our sound team provides audio support during each of our worship services as well as our seasonal productions and community outreach events. Our video team provides tech support for our ministry through video projection and computer software programs, such as Powerpoint and Song Show Plus. Experience working with sound and a knowledge of computers is preferred. Training is available for this ministry.

Our sermons are made available on tape, CD or mp3 formats. You can also listen to our weekly sermons here on our website.
