Ministries & Discipleship

In everything we do as a church, we want to reach people with the good news of the gospel of Jesus and walk with them as they become fully devoted followers of Jesus who can also join in the mission of God to reach and disciple others.

In our Discipleship Ministry, we promote five core commitments that we believe should mark the life of a follower of Jesus.

Worship & Media

Our guiding principle for corporate worship is Colossians 3:16, which instructs us to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly as we sing together.

Our worship style is modern, with a band-led approach that includes contemporary worship songs and traditional hymns. We believe that music is a powerful tool for helping us express our love and adoration for God, and for drawing us into a deeper relationship with Him.

If you have a passion for music and a desire to serve in our worship ministry, we invite you to join us! Whether you play an instrument, sing, or have experience with sound or lighting, there are opportunities for you to get involved.

FAC Men

We believe that men have a critical role to play in God's kingdom. That's why we've created a Men's ministry that's rooted in the biblical truth that "just as iron sharpens iron so one brother sharpens another."

Our FAC Men's ministry meets multiple times a year for a men's breakfast and other special events, including an annual men's retreat.

Our goal is to create a community of men who encourage, challenge, and support one another as we strive to become the men that God has called us to be as husbands, fathers, and leaders in our home, church, and community.

Whether you're a young man just starting out on your journey of faith or a seasoned veteran looking for a community of like-minded brothers, we invite you to join us on this journey.

Happy Mother with her Child

The Motherhood

"The Motherhood" is a ministry that provides a safe and nurturing environment for moms of young children to connect and grow in their faith together. This group is designed to provide support, encouragement, and friendship for moms who may feel isolated or overwhelmed in their daily lives. Our group meets on the first Monday of every month during the school year, and is a fun and energetic gathering of women who share a common bond of motherhood.

Our meetings include activities and discussions that are specifically tailored to the unique challenges and joys of raising young children. As we journey together, we strive to deepen our faith and understanding of God's love, and to live out our calling as mothers with grace and wisdom.

Senior Adults

The Senior Adults of FAC are a lively and close-knit community that meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 10:30am for a time of fellowship, devotion, and prayer over a delicious lunch. We believe in building strong relationships with one another while growing in our faith together.

In addition to these monthly gatherings, they also enjoy taking trips together to various places around North Carolina, which create even more opportunities for fellowship and adventure.

Our group is open to all seniors who are seeking a warm and welcoming community to be a part of.

Come join us for a time of friendship, faith, and fun!

FAC Women

Our FAC Women's Ministry is founded on the biblical principles of Titus 2:3-5 and is dedicated to connecting women of all generations for mutual accountability and encouragement. Our ministry seeks to empower women to build meaningful relationships around God's word, grow in their faith, and serve one another as they seek to fulfill their unique callings in Christ.

Our Women's Ministry includes several small groups that meet regularly, catering to women in different stages of life, but we also host various special events throughout the year that bring all of our FAC women together for fellowship and encouragement, including an annual women's retreat.

Prayer Meeting

Join each Wednesday evening at 6:30pm for our weekly prayer meeting. This is a special time where many from our church come together to lift up hearts and voices in prayer to God. Our prayer meetings are a vital part of our church's ministry, as we believe that nothing that happens through what we do at FAC outside of God's power and pressence.

During our time together, we have an opportunity to share our prayer requests with one another and pray together for the needs of our church, community, and world.

We believe that prayer is a powerful tool for bringing about transformation and renewal in our lives and in the world around us, and we invite you to join us as we seek God's will and guidance through prayer.
