The heart of FAC Kids is to partner with parents in discipling their children to KNOW, FOLLOW, and SHARE Jesus for the rest of their lives.

We encourage them to KNOW Jesus by building a foundation of biblical literacy and an understanding of God's character through gospel-centered teaching.

We encourage them FOLLOW Jesus by developing godly habits, learning to imitate Christ in our thoughts and actions, and listen to the Holy Spirit as he directs our steps.

We encourage children to SHARE Jesus with others by raising missions awareness, helping them develop their personal testimony, and considering baptism as a public declaration of their faith.

Ultimately, our goal is to provide a nurturing and relational environment where kids can grow in their faith and establish a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

At FAC Kids, we believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for our lives. Our teaching is centered on the gospel message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, and we strive to present these truths in a way that is developmentally appropriate for kids.

We help them understand what it means to trust in Jesus as their Savior and Lord.  We help kids learn the Bible, so they can better understand God's plan for the world and their place in it.  We teach kids how to apply biblical principles to their daily lives and encourage them to share their faith with others.

We want kids to form relationships with their teachers in each ministry to make them truly a part of the First Alliance family.  We strive to create an environment where kids can ask questions, express their doubts, and grow in their faith.  We believe that we are laying a foundation for a lifetime of discipleship and service to God.

What We Teach

When Can I Bring My Kids?

Sunday School

Sunday Mornings at 9am
3 Years through 5th Grade

Our Sunday School time each week is devoted to teaching kids the Bible. Our Sunday School teachers are committed to laying a biblical foundation for our kids in a fun, relatable, and understandable way.

Kids Club

Wednesday Nights During the School Year
6:45 - 8pm
3 Years through 5th Grade

Kids Club is the highlight of the week for FAC Kids. During Kids Club, your child will be taught a lesson from the Bible, work on memorizing the books of the Bible and specific verses that go along with the current theme; all in a fun environment that includes games, singing, and making friends.

We strive to make Kids Club more like a small-group: a place that helps them grow in their faith as they learn to follow Jesus.

Children's Church

Sunday Mornings during Service
3 Years through 5th Grade

We believe that it is important for our kids to observe and participate in the corporate worship of God's people, so we invite families to worship together for the first half of our morning service.

Our Children's Church program focuses on teaching kids the message of the gospel at their level.

We know that as a parent, you want to feel confident that your child is in good hands when you drop them off with us, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

To ensure that your child is safe and well-cared for, we have implemented a number of safety standards and procedures. Here are just a few examples:

  • Secure check-in: Every Sunday morning, we have a secure check-in desk where your child will receive a unique name tag that corresponds to the child pick-up ticket given to the parent checking them in. This ensures that only authorized adults are able to pick up your child.

  • Trained volunteers: All of our FAC Kids volunteers undergo thorough background checks and training in our child safety policies and procedures. We want to make sure that every volunteer is equipped to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child.

  • Security team: We always have at least two security team members present at any event that involves children. They are trained to respond quickly and effectively in case of an emergency.

  • No one-on-one situations: We always ensure that your child is never in a one-on-one situation with any adult in any type of private or hidden environment. We believe in transparency and accountability at every step of the way.

If you have any questions about our Child Safety Policies and Procedures, or to report a concern, please reach out to our FAC Kids Director, Kortney DeHass by email at Kortney@lexfirstallaince.com
