WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE DESIGNED FOR DISCIPLESHIP?
We believe that making disciples isn't simply one of the programs of our church – it is the identity and mission that Jesus has given to us. We have been called to help people know Christ, grow in Christ, and live on mission for Christ. Being "Designed For Discipleship" means that everything we do ultimately is directed by that mission and identity.
Every part of this campaign is centered on making disciples. We want to MULTIPLY LEADERS who are equipped to invest in others, CONNECT OUR CONGREGATION in deeper biblical community, and EXPAND OUR SPACE so that more people can gather, grow, and be sent with the gospel to INCREASE OUR IMPACT in Davidson County and to the world.
WHAT DOES A BUILDING PROJECT
HAVE TO DO WITH THIS?
God has greatly blessed the disciple-making ministries of First Alliance, especially our FAC Kids programs. This has led us to face an interesting challenge; we currently have plenty of space for our Sunday morning worship services, but are not able to fit all of the Sunday School classes, Adult Small Groups, D-Groups, FAC Kids classes, and Alliance Youth gatherings that could be going on. Expanding our campus is not ultimately about having a bigger building. It is about becoming better equipped to be the disciple-making church Jesus has called us to be.
More intentional and usable classroom space will give us greater opportunities to welcome our community, disciple every generation, develop leaders, build meaningful relationships, and send people into Davidson County and beyond with the good news of Jesus.

The most important contribution any of us can make is PRAYER!
Pray that God would guide every step of this campaign, provide what is needed, and use our church to make disciples in Davidson County and beyond.
GIVE
Practicing biblical stewardship.
Prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to give toward Designed for Discipleship as we invest in people, ministry, and space that will serve generations to come. Opportunities to give will be made available beginning in November.
